The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Florida and the second tallest masonry lighthouse in the nation. Located 10 miles south of Daytona Beach, the lighthouse and surrounding light station buildings have been completely restored and are now visited by over 125,000 people each year. The lighthouse boasts 203 steps to the top of the 175 foot tower and offers a magnificent view of the beaches and surrounding area. The museum complex also offers an amazing display of Fresnel lenses and a historic perspective of the former lighthouse keepers and their families and how they lived.Read More
